About
I am a printmaker with a background in architecture and music, and my work aims to explore the tension between structure and nature, between reality and abstraction. Through screenprinting, I reduce complex structures – built or natural – to their essential lines, colours and rhythms.
I have developed my practice through experimentation and hands-on learning. The process is as important to me as the final print – from the initial sketches and ideas, through the composition of layers, to the colour palette exploration. I embrace the immediacy and materiality of screenprinting, and the subtle variations that make each print unique.
My journey into screenprinting started as an exploration of a new visual language, drawn to a process that is built layer by layer, and that is both precise and unpredictable. I hope each print can become an invitation to slow down and a reminder of the beauty found in the structures and patterns of the world around us.
